The Foundation has been proud to host a Czech student each Fall/Winter from Tabor at Miramonte High School for 22 years. A notice goes out to every high school in Tabor in November about applying to Orinda’s exchange program to study at Miramonte and live with an Orinda Host Family for any student aged from sixteen-eighteen. The student submits an English language autobiography in English, followed by an English language interview. The top five student essays are selected and forwarded to the Foundation Board. In their opinion, a number one student is recommended, and the final student is chosen.

All expenses are paid for our students by the Foundation, including airfare. Orindans have always generously agreed to be Host Families for this student’s six-month stay. It continues to be a mutually joyous event!
